etiology of The endocrine system
Endocrine glands are a gland that secrete directly into the blood stream. They are used to keep the body hormones equal with in the body. They use chemical messengers that travel in the blood stream to reach there target. When the chemical messenger gets to its target a metabolic change occurs. If there is too much or too little of hormones secreted than that can upset the metabolic balance within the whole body. This can effect the patient's metabolism, growth, development, reproduction, and many other bodily activities.
